In Loving Memory of Earl Eugene Fink
Earl Eugene was his birth name, but I knew my father as Eugene Earl or Gene.
He was 49 yrs old at the time of my birth. My time with him was short but I feel blessed to have experienced his fatherly love for the time that God allowed us. Although he passed away when I was young, I still find myself thinking of him frequently. Especially with each milestone my children reach. I wish he could have known them. I wish they could have experienced him. I love you dad.

My best memories of my Dad are when he used to let me
draw in ink on his back, (it must have felt good).  He'd let me put his hair in rollers! He used to take
me shopping on Sunday's if I didn't go to church, or after if I did. He took me fishing, even though it
was 4:00 in the morning when we left for Dillon! He used to "let me" file his toenails and fingernails. 
My last memory of him was just before he died. My sister Laurie and I went to California for 4 days to
see him. He was pretty sick at the time. Strokes had taken their toll on his speech, and movements. It was
a bittersweet visit, because I knew it would be the last time I would see my father alive. I still miss
him very much. I Love you Dad.
